Lotus Seven

1957 — 1972 · 1.0 — 1.6L I4 · 40 — 115 BHP

The Lotus Seven, produced from 1957 to 1972, is the iconic lightweight sports car that defined the kit car genre. Designed by Colin Chapman, its minimalist aluminium-panelled body and tubular steel chassis delivered extraordinary performance at low cost. After Lotus ceased production, the design was licensed to Caterham Cars.
